GSB Dormitory Applications Begin: Deadline August 29
GSB dormitory applications for university students have started to be received through the e-Devlet portal. The deadline for applications, which will be evaluated based on the social and economic status of the candidates, has been announced as Saturday, August 29.
Minister of Youth and Sports Bak announced that dormitory applications for university students for the 2026-2027 academic year have started. Applications for first-time enrollees and intermediate class students will be received via e-Devlet.
Application Process and Deadline
Students enrolling in formal education programs of universities for the first time in the 2026-2027 academic year, as well as intermediate class students, will be able to submit their dormitory applications through the e-Devlet portal.
According to the statement made by Minister of Youth and Sports Bak, students will have to complete their applications by Saturday, August 29, at 23:59.
Evaluation Criteria and Inter-institutional Coordination
During the application, declarations regarding the social and economic status of the students will be collected. These declarations will be evaluated in coordination with 12 different public institutions and organizations after the application process is completed.
During the evaluation process, data from institutions such as the Council of Higher Education, ÖSYM, the Social Security Institution, and the Revenue Administration will be used. The family's income status, social status, and the student's academic achievement criteria will be the basis for placement procedures.
