Following the extraordinary elective general assembly held at Beşiktaş, Ziya Fırat Gültekin, who serves on the board of directors of re-elected president Serdal Adalı, made statements regarding the club's goals for the upcoming period.
Board of Directors and Relay Race
Having previously served at Beşiktaş Futbol A.Ş. and now taking a spot on the new board of directors, Ziya Fırat Gültekin stated that he views this process as a relay race.
Stating that their main purpose is to serve the black-and-white community, Gültekin conveyed that they will continue to work for the club in the new period.
Championship and Financial Goals
He expressed that they aim to have a successful period, particularly from a financial standpoint, until the ordinary elections to be held in May 2028.
Emphasizing that the team is in a very good condition in terms of football, Gültekin said that they maintain their championship hopes by making the best use of the remaining period.
Investments in Amateur Branches
Stating that football is the flagship for the club, the board member noted that investments to be made in amateur branches will also increase.
