New Season Begins at Konak Municipality Winter Sports Schools
The Winter Sports Schools, organized free of charge by Konak Municipality for children and adults, have opened their doors for the new term at numerous different centers.
The new term at the Winter Sports Schools, implemented completely free of charge by the Konak Municipality Youth and Sports Services Directorate, officially started with the participation of Konak Mayor Nilüfer Çınarlı Mutlu.
First Whistle in Gültepe
Konak Mayor Nilüfer Çınarlı Mutlu came together with the children at the Gültepe Atatürk Sports Facility, shared in their excitement, and blew the season's first kickoff whistle.
Sports Branches and Centers
Starting to serve in 6 different branches and a total of 9 distinct centers for the winter term, the schools offer sports opportunities to children and families across all corners of the city.
Age Groups and Participation
While age groups 4-6 and 7-14 engage in sports at the centers spread across the city, adults aged 18 and above also benefit free of charge from the courses, which have received nearly 1,500 registrations.
