PFDK Referrals Announced After the Second Week in the Süper Lig
Numerous clubs and their executives, including Galatasaray, Beşiktaş, Trabzonspor, and Konyaspor, have been referred to discipline for reasons such as ugly chanting, field incidents, and unsportsmanlike statements.
The Turkish Football Federation Legal Department announced the clubs, presidents, executives, and athletes referred to the Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) following the matches played in the second week of the Trendyol Süper Lig Adnan Süvari Season.
The Big Three and Their Executives Referred to Discipline
Galatasaray was referred to the PFDK due to ugly and bad chanting in the match played against Erzurumspor FK, as well as the failure to keep stairways clear. Beşiktaş, on the other hand, was sent to discipline due to chanting in the Corendon Alanyaspor match, as well as social media posts and statements by Club Vice President Hakan Daltaban.
Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı and executive Hakan Daltaban were among the names referred without precautionary measures due to statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football. Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan was also referred to the committee without precautionary measures due to his statements in the media after the İstanbul Başakşehir match.
Decisions Regarding Konyaspor and Other Clubs
Tümosan Konyaspor Club and Club President Ömer Atiker were referred to the PFDK without precautionary measures due to statements on social media after the Fenerbahçe match. Gaziantep FK player Juninho Gracielo Bacuna was sent to discipline with precautionary measures due to his rule violation in the Eyüpspor match.
In other matches of the week, Erzurumspor FK, Eyüpspor, Gaziantep FK, Corendon Alanyaspor, Göztepe, Kocaelispor, and Amed Sportif Faaliyetler clubs were the other teams referred to the PFDK due to various violations such as ugly chanting, field incidents, or failure to keep stairways clear.
