Schedule and Venue Details Finalized for the 10th National Sports Games
The 2026 National Sports Games will be held across four different regions with the participation of thousands of athletes in 48 disciplines from November 14 to December 12.
It has been officially announced that the 10th National Sports Games will take place between November 14 and December 12, 2026. Over 12,000 officials, coaches, and athletes from 36 different delegations will participate in the organization.
Dates of the Games
The 10th National Sports Games will be organized between November 14 and December 12, 2026. This mega event has been planned to encompass 48 different sports disciplines.
Participant Profile and Disciplines
A total of 36 delegations, comprising 34 provinces and cities as well as two delegations each from the Military and the Police, will take part in the event. Athletes and officials will fiercely compete in a total of 973 different events.
Host Cities and Regions
The competitions will be held primarily in Ho Chi Minh City, alongside the provinces of Dong Nai and Dong Thap. Additionally, diving competitions will take place at the Water Sports Palace in Hanoi.
Venue Changes
As part of the preparations, the organizing committee has revised the venues for certain sports in Ho Chi Minh City. The badminton and basketball halls have been swapped with each other.
Schedule and Discipline Updates
Compak Sporting shooting competitions have been moved forward to November 24-25. Indoor volleyball matches have been scheduled to begin on November 27 and conclude on December 11.
Historic Return
This year's organization holds great significance as it marks the return of the National Games to Ho Chi Minh City for the first time in 20 years.
