Sports and Social Life Center Being Established in Denizli's Akkonak Neighborhood
The tender date has been finalized for the semi-Olympic swimming pool and social life center to be built in Akkonak Neighborhood by the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality.
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality has completed preparations to bring a modern social life center to Akkonak Neighborhood, featuring a semi-Olympic swimming pool, a gym, a Book Cafe, and multi-purpose halls.
Project Details and Area
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality has pressed the button for the Akkonak Indoor Swimming Pool Project and is preparing to bring a comprehensive social life center to life. The facility will be established on a total footprint of 2,921.56 square meters and a total construction area of 7,575.26 square meters.
Amenities to be Included in the Facility
The basement floor of the project will feature a 35-car parking lot, prayer rooms, and technical spaces. On the ground floor, there will be a 5-lane semi-Olympic pool, a training pool, a gym, a spectator stand, and administrative offices.
On the first floor, four multi-purpose halls of approximately 200 square meters each and a 350-square-meter Book Cafe will serve the public.
Tender Date and Time
The construction tender for the Akkonak Semi-Olympic Swimming Pool will officially take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 10:30 AM.

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu stated that the facility will not just be a swimming pool, but a modern center where youth will meet with sports and families will spend time.
