The Ministry of Education and Training has drafted and started collecting feedback on a new circular concerning the management of science, technology, and innovation tasks to increase research efficiency and ensure the applicability and commercialization of obtained results.
The Purpose of the Draft Circular
The new circular draft prepared by the Ministry of Education and Training aims to increase research efficiency and commercialize scientific results.
Experts and scientists expect the new mechanism to help take research results out of the laboratory to create practical value.
Activities of the Vietnam National University of Agriculture
As part of implementing national decisions, the Vietnam National University of Agriculture performs many important tasks focused on putting research results into practice and promoting commercialization.
The studies carried out within the institution contribute to the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
Project and Task Proposals
Associate Professor Tran Hiep, Head of the Science and Technology Department, stated that the Academy has developed 6 clusters of science and technology tasks.
The Academy has also proposed more than 50 tasks to relevant ministries for evaluation and implementation.
Infrastructure Investments and Laboratories
In addition to developing its research mission, the Academy has two major infrastructure investment projects focusing on information technology and processing technology.
Furthermore, a GMP-standard workshop system is being established to serve the production of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, vaccines, biological products, and new-generation biosynthetic materials.
Research Groups and Modernization
Currently, 46 strong research groups as well as many elite and prominent research groups operate within the Academy.
Investments in the system of laboratories, research centers, and experimental facilities are ongoing alongside modernization efforts.
