ÇAKIR Cruise Missile Hits Targets with Direct Accuracy in Land-Based Firing Tests
The ROKETSAN-manufactured ÇAKIR missile stood out with its extended range thanks to a new fuel system and high precision in land-launched firings. Fired from land vehicles following UCAVs, the missile proved its effectiveness against different targets under challenging conditions.
The New Generation Cruise Missile ÇAKIR, developed by ROKETSAN using national resources, hit land and sea targets with direct precision in land-based firing tests. During the tests, its extended range enabled by a new fuel system and its multi-platform integration capability were successfully demonstrated.
Direct Hits on Land and Sea Targets
Fired from land as part of a two-firing test held on different days, the ÇAKIR Cruise Missile successfully destroyed both land and sea targets thanks to its New Generation IIR Seeker Head.
Previously launched from unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) platforms, the missile once again demonstrated its multi-platform integration capability with these successful firings from land vehicles.
Advanced Technological Features and System Architecture
ÇAKIR, whose extended range with a new fuel system was successfully tested during firing tests, features low observability and high target strike accuracy.
The system, which can be used against different target types under all weather conditions thanks to its advanced navigation applications, offers countermeasure resistance, re-attack capability, target updating via datalink, and mission abort capability.
