According to the August 2026 report by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the export value of digital technology products and goods is expected to reach 22.4 billion USD, marking a 41% increase.
Export and Sector Revenues
It is stated that the export turnover of digital technology products and goods in August 2026 is estimated at 22.4 billion USD, representing a 41% increase.
Additionally, revenues in the digital technology sector for August 2026 are reported to be estimated at 680,586 billion VND, showing a 36% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
Postal Services Data
It was announced that postal service revenues in August 2026 are estimated at 9,260 billion VND, an increase of 3% compared to July 2026 and 22% compared to the same period in 2025.
It was noted that the postal delivery volume is estimated at 440 million items, representing increases of 2.3% and 14% respectively.
Enterprises and Industrial Property
By the end of August 2026, the country will host 968 science and technology enterprises and 20 science and technology exchange platforms.
The Ministry of Science and Technology received 18,348 industrial property applications, a 30.1% increase compared to August 2025, and granted 8,473 protection certificates.
Digital Infrastructure and Domain Names
As of August 15, 2026, the number of active .vn domain names reached 699,722, a 5.5% increase compared to the same period in 2025, with 20,355 new domain names added during the month.
The IPv6 adoption rate reached 66%, ranking second in Southeast Asia and seventh globally.
Data Integration and Publications
It was stated that there were 2,647 international publications in the Scopus database between July 15 and August 14, 2026.
As of August 15, 2026, the National Data Integration and Sharing Platform reached 4.7 billion transactions, and 100% of local government units have established data connectivity.
