DPÜ's TÜBİTAK-Funded Project Brings Village School Students Together with Science
The TÜBİTAK 4009 project, led by Kütahya Dumlupınar University, offered hands-on activities to the students of Tavşanlı Derecik Primary School.
Carried out under the leadership of Kütahya Dumlupınar University within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 4009 program, the project titled 'There Is a Science Far Away' enabled the students of Tavşanlı Derecik Primary School to be introduced to science and technology.
Aim and Scope of the Project
Carried out under the leadership of Kütahya Dumlupınar University within the framework of the TÜBİTAK 4009 Support Program for Village Schools, the project was organized to support the scientific curiosity of children in village schools.
High Participation Realized
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Yalçın, Tavşanlı District Director of National Education Raşit Refik Küçükkağnıcı, and academicians attended the program organized at Tavşanlı Derecik Primary School.
Hands-On Activities Were Organized
During the events, which featured entertaining moments, students had the opportunity to develop their scientific thinking skills thanks to practical work carried out in the fields of science, technology, and research.
