On August 25, 2026, in Singapore, Vietnam and Singapore held their first strategic dialogue focusing on cooperation in human resources development, science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

Co-Chairs of the Meeting

The dialogue was co-chaired by Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member and Standing Committee Secretary, and Chan Chun Sing, Deputy Secretary-General of the People's Action Party of Singapore, Minister for Public Service Coordination, and Minister for Defence.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that human resources development and technology connectivity are strategically important areas for the competitiveness, self-reliance, and sustainable development of both countries.
