It has been announced that Grand Theft Auto 6, developed by Rockstar Games, will feature over 170 animal species, an advanced weather system, and a fully explorable zoo.

New details continue to emerge regarding Grand Theft Auto 6 by Rockstar Games. Accordingly, it has been confirmed that more than 170 animal species will be included in the game world.
Designed with southern Florida in mind, the game will feature numerous different species alongside region-specific creatures such as alligators, iguanas, and snakes.
Natural Phenomena and Weather System
To make the game world much more realistic, various natural phenomena such as hurricanes and major tropical storms will be incorporated into the production.
According to Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature an advanced weather system that models wind and rain much more accurately than ever before.
Confirmed Species
The disclosed information includes various land animals such as beavers, wild boars, cougars, otters, and snakes.
Additionally, aquatic creatures like alligators, dolphins, whales, and sharks, as well as various bird species including flamingos, cranes, and pelicans, will be present in the game.
Explorable Areas
It has been officially confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature a fully explorable zoo.
It was noted that, similar to Red Dead Redemption 2, the animals here can be observed and added to a checklist.
Release Window and Platforms
The game details came to light through a comprehensive fourteen-page preview published by Game Informer on September 29.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to be released on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox consoles, and at a later date for the PC platform.
