Industry and Technology Minister Kacır Emphasizes Investment and Production
Minister Kacır shared the investment vision and technology ventures at a summit in Istanbul, announcing targets for the year 2030.
Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır emphasized that the country's main priority is investment and production during a speech at a summit held in Istanbul, where he shared the 2030 targets.

Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır attended the program organized by Bacacı Yatırım Holding at the Istanbul Finance Center Ziraat Bank Auditorium Hall. Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Governor Dr. Fatih Karahan, Presidency Investment and Finance Office President Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu, and Turkey Wealth Fund General Manager Salim Arda Ermut were also present at the program.
Venture Investments and 2030 Targets
Minister Kacır stated that investments in technology ventures in Turkey have exceeded 5.7 billion dollars in the last five years, noting that the country now has 8 Turcorns. Kacır announced that they aim for 100,000 technology startups to emerge by 2030 and for the total valuation of Turcorns to exceed 100 billion dollars.
New Projects and Financing Supports
Stating that the Turkey TechVisa program has been launched to attract global talent, Kacır noted that Atatürk Airport terminal buildings will be transformed into the world's largest technology center with the Terminal İstanbul project and will open in 2027. It was also emphasized that 300 million dollars in resources will be transferred to the venture capital ecosystem, generating more than 750 million dollars in liquidity.
Investment Program and Industrial Areas Master Plan
With the investment program announced in April, steps such as up to a 100% tax discount on transit trade earnings and a reduction in corporate tax in the manufacturing industry were taken. In the first phase of the Industrial Areas Master Plan, which will shed light on the next 30 years of industry, 19 new investment areas with a size of 59,000 hectares were determined across 15 provinces.
