Meta Open-Sources Code to Build Your Own Muse AI Devices
Meta has released the code enabling users to build their own Muse AI devices using hardware like Raspberry Pi or ESP32 boards, and announced it will distribute thousands of devices.
Meta has publicly shared the source code allowing you to create your own Muse devices featuring the company's new AI agent, enabling users to experiment with this technology using various hardware.
Design Your Own Device
Meta has released the software development kits and source code required for users to build their own Muse devices as open source.
Thanks to this code, personalized artificial intelligence devices can be developed using readily available hardware such as ESP32 boards or Raspberry Pi.
Various Project Ideas
The company suggests loading the Muse software onto colored E Ink screens to display reminders or casting it to large screens via an HDMI stick.
Additionally, installing it on small touchscreen devices to achieve a homemade Muse Charm appearance is among the possible projects.
Hardware Connections and Risk Warning
Developers can easily integrate screens, buttons, sensors, actuators, and other hardware they have on hand into this system.
At the same time, Meta warns that users must proceed at their own risk when bringing these projects to life.
Muse Home Link Distribution
In addition to sharing the code, Meta announced it will gift a limited number of a custom device it produced called Muse Home Link.
According to a statement made by Nat Friedman, a total of 5,000 of these devices have been produced and users can join the waitlist.
