The Ministry of Science and Technology announced that, following a comprehensive review conducted in Hanoi, it has identified 99 out of 486 legal documents under its responsibility that require action in the initial phase.

A consultation conference regarding the results of the comprehensive review of the legal documents of the Ministry of Science and Technology was held in Hanoi. During the meeting, Director of the Legal Department Nguyen Nhu Quynh delivered a speech detailing the work carried out.

Scope and Legal Basis of the Review

The initial review covered 486 documents under the ministry's responsibility. The work was carried out in strict adherence to the policies and orientations outlined in the documents of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Identified Legal Documents

According to preliminary findings, the revision, amendment, supplementation, or repeal of 99 legal documents is being considered. Outdated or contradictory regulations were identified during this process.

Roadmap for the Future Period

The ministry categorized the documents according to their treatment methods and determined an appropriate roadmap. The reviews found no systemic legal gaps, but amendments are planned for newly emerging issues.
