Record Number of Applications for TÜBİTAK Competitions Within TEKNOFEST

While 16 technology competitions organized by TÜBİTAK within the scope of TEKNOFEST have seen intense interest, finals are being held in 5 different provinces and champions will be awarded in Şanlıurfa.

It was reported that a record number of applications were made to the 16 technology competitions organized by TÜBİTAK within the scope of TEKNOFEST, which is carried out under the main coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation. Following the finals continuing across five different provinces in Turkey, the champions will be announced at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport.

TEKNOFEST and TÜBİTAK Cooperation

According to the statement by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, within the scope of the festival realized under the main coordination of the Ministry and the Turkey Technology Team Foundation, TÜBİTAK organizes 16 different competitions focusing on the critical technologies of the future. This marathon, in which young people participate with their local and national projects, witnesses great excitement.

Finals Held in Kocaeli

The finals of the Robotaxi-Passenger Autonomous Vehicle, Quantum Technologies, International Electric Vehicle, and Hyperloop Development competitions are organized in Kocaeli. While the Robotaxi-Passenger Autonomous Vehicle Competition broke its own record with 1,201 applications, the evaluations and events of the other categories continue according to the planned schedule.

Malatya and Ankara Events

The finals of the International Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and High School Unmanned Aerial Vehicles competitions are held in Malatya. The high school category broke a historical record with 6,463 applications, while the excitement of the Vertical Landing Rocket Competition is experienced in Ankara.

Technology Competitions in Diyarbakır

The finals of the Artificial Intelligence in Aviation, Chip Design, Biotechnology Innovation, and Technologies for Humanity at the Primary School Level competitions are held in Diyarbakır. The technologies for humanity category at the primary school level has achieved a remarkable record with 114,597 applications.

Blockchain Competition in Şanlıurfa

The final of the Blockchain Competition, which reached 17,395 applications, will be organized at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport. This event is also one of the important stops that will host the festival's general award ceremony.

Categories Completed Online

The evaluation processes of the Pardus Bug Fixing and Suggestion Competition and the university and high school-level research project competitions were successfully completed online. Students were evaluated at these stages with the projects they developed.

Grand Award Ceremony

The champions of all categories will receive their trophies at the TEKNOFEST award ceremony to be held at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport between September 30 and October 4. With the award ceremony, this year's record-breaking competitions of the festival will be completed.
