Developed by ROKETSAN, the national cruise missile ÇAKIR successfully completed its test processes by hitting both land and sea targets with pinpoint accuracy using its New Generation IIR Seeker Head in two different land-based firing tests.

Test Firings and Range Trials

The ROKETSAN-produced ÇAKIR cruise missile achieved success by targeting land and sea targets in a two-firing test program launched from land on different days. During the firings, the New Generation IIR Seeker Head within the missile was utilized.

Using its new propulsion system during the testing process, ÇAKIR successfully tested its extended range. Having been fired from land vehicles following UAV platforms, the missile showcased its ability to be integrated into different platforms.
