Science and Technology Committee Conducts Inspection in Ho Chi Minh City
The thematic monitoring delegation inspected the implementation of digital transformation policies and technical infrastructure on-site in Ho Chi Minh City.
The thematic monitoring delegation affiliated with the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment conducted field research in Ho Chi Minh City to supervise the implementation of digital transformation policies under Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW for the 2024-2026 period.
Field Research and Inspections
The monitoring team conducted work at units including the Ho Chi Minh City Public Administrative Service Center, Thu Duc District, and Dong Thanh Commune. Technical infrastructure, terminal equipment, and the delivery of online public services were examined in detail at each unit.
Identified Limitations
Despite achievements, it was found that statistical data between systems were inconsistent, unified criteria for data reuse were lacking, and the sharing of specialized data was unstable.
Evaluations by the Delegation
The delegation, headed by Tran Van Khai, positively evaluated the city's data center model and information systems on the cloud computing platform. The units were requested to review reports and provide concrete solutions.
