Science Fair Begins in Bilecik in Light of the Maarif Model
Workshops, talks, and competitions bringing students together with technology are being held at the TÜBİTAK-supported festival.
The Bilecik Science Festival in the Light of the Educational Model, implemented by the Bilecik Provincial Directorate of National Education within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 4007 Science Festivals Support Program, opened its doors with a ceremony.
Purpose and Goals of the Festival
The festival, which brings students in Bilecik together with science, technology, art, and innovative learning environments, is planned to last for three days.
Through the activities, it is aimed to strengthen students' technological literacy, teamwork, and inquiry skills.
Rich Event Program
A total of 21 workshops, 27 activities, 4 talks, and 4 different competitions are being organized within the scope of the program.
While aiming to reach over 9,645 participants during the festival, the works are prepared based on four different approaches.
Technology and Design Studies
Studies in modern fields such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, 3D design, and sky observations are being conducted in the event area.
Scientific studies and projects prepared by students are presented for the appreciation of participants.
Protocol and Participants
Bilecik Governor Faik Oktay Sözer, Provincial Director of National Education Serdal Şimşek, and protocol members attended the opening ceremony.
Bilecik Chamber of Commerce and Industry General Secretary D. Gürkan Akyol also took part in the ceremony, representing institutional support.
