The Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology has signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding with Ben Tre Pharmaceutical, Quang Trung University, Hue International General Hospital, and Viet My Phu Yen Hospital in the fields of scientific research, technology transfer, healthcare, and human resource training.

Scope of Strategic Cooperation and Participants

A total of 250 delegates from the five participating organizations attended the event.

The signed memorandum of understanding aims to strengthen connections between science, education, healthcare, and businesses.

Joint Operations in Pharmaceuticals and Technology

Ben Tre Pharmaceutical will cooperate with the Academy to gain access to research results and new technologies.

The goal is to develop and produce potential products and commercialize medical equipment.

Innovative Practices in the Healthcare Sector

Hue International General Hospital and Viet My Phu Yen Hospital joined the project.

Applications of fields such as biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and medical data in diagnosis and treatment will be explored.

Education and Training of Qualified Human Resources

Quang Trung University will focus on the fields of quantum computing and information security.

High-qualified science and technology human resources will be trained thanks to the cooperation established with the Academy.

Future-Oriented Proposals and Goals

Professor Chu Hoang Ha, Vice President of the Academy, presented five key proposals that the parties should focus on.

It was decided to select priority programs and establish joint research groups.
