Dual-Console and Single-Port Technique
The surgical team, led by Associate Professor Dr. Vu Le Chuyen, successfully deployed two advanced next-generation Da Vinci Xi robotic systems within the hospital.
Successful Operation on a 74-Year-Old Patient
Dual-console and single-port techniques were applied simultaneously on 74-year-old Mr. Nhuong, who had stage T2 prostate cancer and a long history of diabetes.
Short Surgical Duration
The team of specialists completed the operation in approximately one hundred minutes, reducing the duration by seventy percent compared to traditional surgical methods.
Rapid Recovery and Discharge
It was officially reported that the patient, whose health condition improved rapidly after the surgery, was discharged from the hospital one day post-operation.
