TEKNOFEST 2026 Excitement Continues in Diyarbakır Across Eight Different Categories
In the organization held at the Mesopotamia International Fair and Congress Center, finalist teams are fiercely competing.
Organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation in Diyarbakır, TEKNOFEST 2026 competitions continue at full speed on their second day across eight different categories.
The Second Day of Competitions
The TEKNOFEST 2026 competitions, which started at the Mesopotamia International Fair and Congress Center under the main coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Turkey Technology Team Foundation, continued on their second day.
Finalist teams are competing for the grand prize by exhibiting their projects to the jury members in various designated fields.
Categories of Competition
Finalist teams are sweating it out in the categories of Robotic Applications in Industry, Jet Engine Design, and Technologies for Humanity Competition Primary School Level.
In addition, competitions are being held in a total of 8 categories, including Artificial Intelligence in Aviation, Biotechnology Innovation, Chip Design, Electronic Warfare, and TEKNOFEST Professional Competence.
Students' Projects
Nurettin Şafak, a student at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, stated that they participated in the Electronic Warfare competition with 5 of his friends and made it to the finals among hundreds of applications.
Kayra Necati Kaya, participating from Istanbul, introduced the project they developed in the field of aviation and artificial intelligence to the public.
Vakkas Project Introduced
The drone-hunting drone system named Vakkas, developed by Kayra Necati Kaya and his team, which can destroy target kamikaze vehicles by throwing nets, drew great interest.
