Vietnam's digital technology sector significantly increased revenues in August
The Ministry of Science and Technology shared the revenue and export data of the digital technology sector at its August 2026 press conference.
At the regular press conference for August 2026 held by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam, the high-rate growth recorded in the digital technology sector's revenue and product exports was shared with the public.
August Sectoral Revenue Growth
According to the data announced at the Ministry of Science and Technology's regular monthly press conference in August 2026, the digital technology sector's revenue is expected to increase by 36% to reach 680,586 billion VND.
High-Rate Increase in Product Exports
During the same period, it is estimated that the exports of digital technology products and goods will record a 41% increase, reaching a magnitude of 22.4 billion dollars.
Developments in the Postal Sector
In the postal sector, service revenues are projected to reach the level of 9,260 billion VND, and the volume of postal shipments is anticipated to reach 440 million.
Domain Name and IPv6 Usage
While the number of active .vn domain names rose to 699,722, the IPv6 usage rate reached the level of 66%, propelling the country forward in global rankings.
