Amid renewed fighting with Houthi rebels in Yemen, airports in the Saudi Arabian cities of Najran and Jizan came under attack, leaving three people with minor injuries.

Attack on Airports

The General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia announced that airports in the cities of Najran and Jizan were hit. As a result of these attacks, both facilities sustained damage while three individuals sustained minor injuries.

Houthi and Coalition Statements

The Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen announced that they launched missiles and drones at the kingdom. Houthi Brigadier General Yahya Saree stated on Tuesday that they opened fire toward a third airport.

Regional Developments and Conflicts

Other developments in the Middle East included an unknown projectile striking a tanker passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Additionally, it was reported that two people lost their lives in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza City.
