Attacks on Saudi Arabian Airports and Middle East Developments
In attacks carried out by Yemen's Houthis, two airports in Saudi Arabia were targeted, leaving three people slightly injured, while other clashes in the region continue.
As clashes between the Houthis in Yemen and the Saudi-led coalition flare up again, the Najran and Jizan airports were targeted with missiles, leaving three people with minor injuries.
Airport Attacks
The General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia announced on Monday that the airports in the cities of Najran and Jizan were targeted and that the facilities sustained damage.
While the Houthis in Yemen announced that they launched missiles and drones into the country, coalition forces stated that a ballistic missile fired toward Khamis Mushait was intercepted and destroyed.
Strait of Hormuz and Gaza
While tensions across the Middle East persist, a tanker passing through the Strait of Hormuz was shaken on Monday after being struck by an unidentified object.
In Gaza City, according to officials at Shifa Hospital, two people lost their lives as a result of Israeli airstrikes.
West Bank and East Jerusalem
Following the beating of AFP photojournalist Jaafar Ashtiyeh by Israeli settlers while he was documenting the olive harvest in the West Bank, calls for an investigation were made.
Additionally, a five-story building in the East Jerusalem area was demolished by Israeli authorities and rendered unusable.
