World-famous K-pop group BTS performed a concert at Soldier Field stadium in Chicago for the first time in seven years as part of the Arirang World Tour. Due to the event attended by tens of thousands of fans, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker declared August 27 and 28 as BTS Days in the city.
High Interest After a Seven-Year Hiatus
Tens of thousands of BTS fans filled Soldier Field stadium on Thursday evening for the group's first concert in Chicago in seven years. Due to the large crowds, stadium management had to open the gates half an hour earlier than scheduled.
The reunion of the group members following their military service and pandemic processes was met with great enthusiasm by fans, and tickets sold out completely.
