Strong Reaction to Sanctions
Iranian Economy Minister Ali Madanizadeh described the new economic measures implemented by the U.S. as an act of economic terror. In an interview broadcast on state television, Madanizadeh stated that they know the rules of the game against the Washington administration.
Attack Warning and Strategy
Madanizadeh stated that the response would not be solely defensive and emphasized that the other side should expect an attack from them. It was announced that the Tehran administration has prepared a two-year action plan against this economic attack.
International Positions
It was reported that China and Russia have not yet shown a tendency to comply with this sanction line. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian announced that Beijing firmly opposes illegal unilateral sanctions.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced the new sanctions package, which he described as an economic D-Day, to the public on Monday. The Treasury Department expanded secondary sanction categories targeting five critical sectors: digital assets, technology, gold, aviation, and maritime.
