Instagram Head Adam Mosseri admitted that his children do not use social media and that they enforce strict digital boundaries in their homes. This situation once again highlights the tendency of Silicon Valley executives to keep their children away from technology.

The Instagram Head's Child Confession

In an interview, Instagram Head Adam Mosseri announced that his three sons, aged ten, eight, and six, do not use Instagram. Stating that they apply digital boundaries in their homes, Mosseri expressed that they grant their children a maximum of 90 minutes of screen time for the weekend.

Silicon Valley Tradition and Waldorf Schools

This situation draws attention as part of the tradition among senior executives in Silicon Valley of keeping their children away from the internet environment or strictly restricting them. Technology executives send their children to Waldorf schools, where technology is almost entirely absent.

Addiction Lawsuits Filed Against Meta

While tech executives protect their own children, on the other hand, they are being tried in state lawsuits in America on accusations that their own platforms make young people addicted. Mosseri testified last month in an addiction lawsuit filed against Meta by the attorneys general of four states.
