Wooldridge family sells home and sets off to travel the world
Leaving their established life in England behind, a family of five has embraced a new lifestyle by embarking on an indefinite world tour with their children.
Dani and Tom Wooldridge, along with their three children, sold their home and all their belongings in England to begin a world tour with a one-way ticket to Indonesia. After a vacation in Thailand, the family decided to radically change their lives, and they continue their children's education through online lessons and curriculum-aligned textbooks.
Radical lifestyle change
Running their own businesses in England and living in a 1970s home, the Wooldridge family decided to leave their routine lives behind. In May, the couple liquidated all their assets and embarked on an open-ended journey with their children, Olivia, Morgan, and George.
A route starting from Indonesia
Starting their journey in Indonesia, the family continued their explorations by visiting regions such as Bali, Lombok, and Mount Batur. After a five-month experience in Indonesia, they plan to turn their route toward other Southeast Asian countries.
Education process continues
The traveling family follows a special method to ensure their children's education is not disrupted. The children continue their education while traveling through textbooks aligned with the English curriculum and online private tutors.
Future plans
The Wooldridge family has prepared a travel plan covering Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Philippines over the next year. This world tour, which has no set end date, has become the family's new way of life.
