15 Million Lira Support to Amateur Sports Clubs in Kahramanmaraş

Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality has prepared a support package totaling 15 million TL for amateur sports clubs for 2026, comprising 8 million TL in cash and 7 million TL in-kind. The cash support check was presented to the clubs at a program held at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Cultural Center.

Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality continues to increase its contributions to amateur sports under the leadership of Mayor Fırat Görgel. Gradually increasing the amount of cash support over the past three years, the municipality raised the cash support from 1.8 million TL in 2024 and 4 million TL in 2025 to 8 million TL in 2026. In addition to the 8 million TL in cash assistance to be provided this year, a resource of 7 million TL has been allocated for in-kind needs such as transportation and accommodation.

At the "Amateur Sports Season Opening and Sports City Kahramanmaraş Meeting" ceremony held at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Cultural Center, the 8 million TL cash support check was handed over by Metropolitan Mayor Fırat Görgel to Ekrem Karaoğlan, President of the Kahramanmaraş Amateur Sports Clubs Federation. Speaking at the ceremony, Karaoğlan expressed his gratitude for the support provided.
