17 suspects sharing weapons on social media caught in Kocaeli-centered operation

Teams from the Kocaeli Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch launched a comprehensive study targeting individuals sharing weapons and crime-related content via their social media accounts.
Following technical and physical tracking by the teams, 17 suspects whose identities were clearly determined were caught and detained in a simultaneous operation.
Seized Evidence
During inspections carried out in the residences and upon the physical searches of the suspects, security forces confiscated numerous prohibited substances and weapons.
The searches resulted in the seizure of 1 hunting rifle, 1 unlicensed pistol, 1 magazine, 1 blank-firing pistol, 79 cartridges of 7.65 millimeter caliber, and 3.2 grams of cannabis.
