Bank officials, institution managers, and members of the press attended the introductory meeting held at the Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum.

Speaking at the meeting, Türkiye İş Bankası Deputy General Manager Suat Sözen emphasized that the works of the 1914 generation are the aesthetic heralds of modern Turkey.
Lucien Arkas, Chairman of the Board of Arkas Holding, stated that a very successful exhibition emerged thanks to the value both institutions place on art.
Collection Collaboration
Curated by Prof. Dr. Gül İrepoğlu as the founding curator, the exhibition was prepared through the joint efforts of the Türkiye İş Bankası Works of Art Collection and the Arkas Collection.

The exhibition features works by significant artists such as İbrahim Çallı, Feyhaman Duran, Namık İsmail, Sami Yetik, Ali Sami Boyar, Hüseyin Avni Lifij, Mehmed Ruhi Arel, Nazmi Ziya Güran, and Hikmet Onat.

Opening its doors on September 26, the special exhibition can be visited by art enthusiasts at the museum until July 12, 2027.
