19th-century Algarve farmhouse transforms into wellness retreat
The Shanti-Som brand is preparing to open a new wellness retreat in Portugal's Algarve region in February 2027.
Wellness retreat brand Shanti-Som has announced it will open its second facility in Portugal's Algarve region in February 2027. Located a 20-minute drive from Faro Airport, the new 22-room center is housed in a restored 19th-century farmhouse surrounded by four hectares of orange and almond orchards.
Shanti-Som Algarve will offer its guests six structured programs focusing on different goals. Visitors will be able to choose from six distinct programs: relaxation, yoga, pilates, detox, strength and fitness, and burnout and nervous system recovery, with the latter two designed exclusively for Shanti-Som Algarve.
Amenities available to guests at the new facility include an infinity pool, sauna, hammam, ice bath, gym, and private treatment rooms.
