20 documentaries on the climate crisis to be screened ahead of COP31

Prior to the 31st Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP31), 20 documentary films examining the effects of the climate crisis in different geographies are being made available to cinema enthusiasts in Istanbul and Antalya.

Screenings in Istanbul are being held at the Atlas 1948 Cinema on October 27-28 and October 31-November 1. The event presents stories from a wide geography, ranging from the Amazon rainforests to the permafrost of Siberia, from the olive groves of Palestine to the pastures of Mongolia, and to Lake Salda in Turkey. The program, for which all screenings are free, will continue at the Antalya Science Center/Dokumapark from November 9-12 following the Istanbul leg.
