2027 Participant Target Announced for Private Pension System
Targets and budget allocations aimed at increasing the number of participants in the Private Pension System have been determined with the 2027 Central Government Budget Law Proposal.
The number of participants in the Private Pension System (BES) is targeted to reach 18 million 400 thousand by the end of 2026, and 19 million in 2027. According to the 2027 Central Government Budget Law Proposal, the number of participants in the system is projected to increase to 20 million by 2029.
Allocations for the Development of the Financial System and Insurance Program were also planned within the scope of the 2027 Central Government Budget Proposal. Accordingly, while an allocation of 103 billion 765 million liras has been set aside for the program this year, this amount is planned to be increased to 126 billion 655 million liras next year. The program allocation is projected to be raised to 147 billion 807 million liras in 2028, and to 167 billion 22 million liras in 2029.
