7.5 Millionth Vehicle Rolls Off the Production Line at TOFAŞ Bursa Factory

TOFAŞ reached an important milestone in its 55-year journey by producing its 7.5 millionth vehicle at the Bursa Factory. The 7.5 millionth vehicle of the production adventure that started with Murat 124 became the Fiat Ulysse.

Having started production in 1971 with a capacity of 20 thousand units and approximately 600 employees, the factory has reached an annual capacity of 500 thousand vehicles today. Entering a new era called “Tofaş 2.0” with the unification of Stellantis Turkey operations under the roof of Tofaş, the company aims to increase its production volume and model variety with the K0 and K9 projects. With the K0 project, exports to North America are planned to restart at the beginning of 2027.

TOFAŞ CEO Cengiz Eroldu stated that this figure does not only express a production quantity, but also an industrial accumulation of more than half a century and the joint success of colleagues who have worked for Tofaş for generations. Eroldu said that they will further strengthen the role of the Bursa Factory within Stellantis with new investments.
