Designed to help users organize their daily lives and manage their relationships and emotions, the AI assistant Tolan has secured $30 million in capital in a new funding round featuring participation from Union Square Ventures, Khosla Ventures, and Homebrew.

This new financing secured by Tolan has doubled the total amount of funding the company has raised to date. With the new round, the company's valuation has risen above $120 million. While the company has not officially disclosed its new valuation, PitchBook estimates with medium confidence that this figure exceeds $268 million. Users interact with Tolan's application through cute cartoon character designs to receive support in their daily tasks.

Tolan generates revenue through tiered membership models that provide full access to all features. The company states that its annual recurring revenue is in the double-digit millions. Claiming to have reached over 250,000 active users and more than 70 million chats conducted by these users over the past year, the startup stands as one of the few popular AI assistants. According to information shared by the Tolan team, approximately 70% of the users are women and 40% are parents.
