Caris Life Sciences has launched the second installment of its national advertising campaign featuring three-time major champion professional golfer Jordan Spieth to promote Caris Detect, a multi-cancer early detection test. The campaign highlights the power of artificial intelligence and molecular science in early-stage cancer detection.

Caris Life Sciences stated that intelligence similar to the data analytics used to enhance athletic performance can also be applied to early-stage cancer detection. The new commercial explores how artificial intelligence improves performance by analyzing millions of data points in golf, while demonstrating how Caris's expertise in molecular science identifies cancer-related molecular signals from a simple blood draw.

Company founder and CEO David Dean Halbert stated that one of the most critical application areas for artificial intelligence is early-stage cancer detection. Three-time major champion golfer Jordan Spieth emphasized that athletes utilize technology to make better decisions, noting that the same logic should apply to health and expressing pride in supporting the campaign.

The Caris Detect test combines Whole Genome Sequencing for all 23,000 genes, Whole Transcriptome Sequencing, and advanced artificial intelligence technology instead of relying on a limited number of biomarkers. This comprehensive approach aims to support early-stage detection by identifying cancer-related molecular patterns in DNA and RNA through a single blood test.
