AI-focused open-access academic journal AI Horizons launches

IOP Publishing has published AI Horizons, a new diamond open-access journal focusing on the applications of artificial intelligence in engineering and science.

IOP Publishing has launched the AI Horizons journal in response to the growing demand for research in the field of artificial intelligence. The journal is published in partnership with the Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) in Ningbo, the Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology, and the World Association of Young Scientists. Shiyi Chen, President of the Eastern Institute of Technology, serves as the editor-in-chief of the journal.

The publication covers subjects such as AI for science and engineering, space-time intelligence, embodied AI, and quantum intelligence. The journal operates on a diamond open-access model, where readers have free access to articles and authors do not pay article processing charges.
