AI Glasses Incident in South Korean University Exams
Disciplinary investigations and exam bans have begun to be implemented against students identified as using AI-powered glasses in various university entrance exams in Seoul.
In university exams held in the capital Seoul, it was determined that two students used AI-powered glasses. Following the incident, disciplinary processes and bans were activated against the students.
Incident at Yonsei University
A student taking the exam at Yonsei University, located in the western part of the capital Seoul, replaced the regular optical glasses they wore before the exam with AI-powered glasses during the exam. Upon the proctors noticing the situation, the student confessed to the mistake, and the steps to be taken by the board of directors regarding the incident are being evaluated.
Ban at Seoul University
A similar incident occurred during the entrance exam at Seoul University, and it was determined that a student was wearing AI-powered glasses during the exam. Upon realization of the situation, the student was removed from the exam hall and banned from taking this university's exams for the next three years.
