AI lab offers free home repairs for robot training
An AI lab named HUMXN is offering free plumbing and maintenance services in three cities, recording home repair work with wearable cameras to train robots.
HUMXN, an artificial intelligence laboratory specializing in real-world data collection, has launched a partnership with homeowners to record the working methods of skilled laborers and train AI robots. The lab announced that it will fully cover the costs of home repair services such as plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, air duct cleaning, and carpet cleaning to be carried out in three cities.
HUMXN requires individuals who want to benefit from these services to allow a worker using wearable recording technology to operate in their homes. The real-world working data and video recordings collected in this way will be used in the training processes of robotic systems.
