Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir Develi, Deputy Head of AK Party Economic Affairs, provided information regarding ongoing works on pensions, welfare share expectations, citizenship salary, and premium injustices. Develi stated that SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees could receive an inflation difference of around 10 percent at the end of the year, while civil servant retirees expect an inflation difference of around 7-8 percent. Stating that increases above these rates will be evaluated within the scope of the welfare share, Develi conveyed that regarding the lowest pension, if a 10 percent increase is applied to the current band of 23,500 liras, it would reach the levels of 26,500 - 27,000, and every additional increase above this would be a welfare share. It was stated that the regulation is expected to become clear at the beginning of the new year.

It was noted that topics such as the demand to reduce the premium days of Bağ-Kur members to 7,200 days, citizenship salary projects, models for higher salaries for those who pay higher premiums, and housing and rent support for retired individuals who do not own a home are also being evaluated within the framework of budget possibilities.
