The “Akif Manaf Health and Peace Award,” presented by the Health and Peace Foundation, has been given to Stephanie Jane Harrison-Croft, who is known for her work on animal protection and the sustainability of wildlife. Having worked voluntarily for many years to rescue, care for, and rehome animals, Harrison-Croft became the award's representative in England.

Carrying out activities for the protection of animals since her childhood years, Stephanie Jane Harrison-Croft began rescuing animals when she was just five years old. Being among the founders of the relief organization named Hope4pets, which operates in the field of animal protection, Harrison-Croft served as the president of the organization for about 10 years. During this process, she contributed to efforts aimed at the rescue, veterinary care, feeding, and rehoming of abandoned stray animals.

Attaching importance to the sustainability of natural habitats alongside animal protection, Harrison-Croft has personally planted more than 1,000 trees to date. She carried out activities aimed at cultivating native plant species such as oak, beech, willow, and hawthorn on their own lands in England. Harrison-Croft also contributed to children becoming conscious about animal welfare and animal protection through educational activities she conducted in primary schools.

Following Italy, France, Belarus, Ivory Coast, Pakistan, Russia, USA, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Sierra Leone, the international scope has expanded with the award reaching England as well. It was stated that the award presented by the Healthy Living Foundation is given to support efforts contributing to the common good of humanity in the fields of health, peace, and sustainable living, and to increase the international visibility of these efforts.
