The management of Saudi Arabian team Al-Ahli has announced that claims regarding contact with individuals suspected of corruption for the sporting director role do not reflect the truth.

A source close to the club's management stated in an explanation to Koora that the search process for a sporting director is being conducted within the framework of transparency and integrity principles. Emphasizing that the allegations in question are completely baseless, officials stated that they are following a professional selection process for the future of the club.

Osama Hawsawi, who previously held the position of sporting director at Al-Ahli on an interim basis, resigned on September 27. The club management announced that they would not act hastily in the search for a new candidate and would adopt an expertise-focused approach.
