Amazon SageMaker JumpStart, the machine learning hub within Amazon SageMaker AI, announced that it has incorporated more than 100 new models from 30 different providers between January and September of 2026.

Amazon SageMaker JumpStart operates as a machine learning hub offering access to artificial intelligence models, solution templates, and sample notebooks. In response to acceleration in open-source model releases and customer demands, numerous new models were added to the platform during the first nine months of 2026. While Alibaba contributed with 29 models, NVIDIA with 17 models including the Cosmos3 and Nemotron families, Mistral with 7 models, Google with 6 Gemma 4 variants, IBM with 4 models including Granite 4.0, and Cohere with 4 models, 33 additional models were included from other providers as well.

In 2026, focus areas on the platform stood out, such as expanding the NVIDIA open model portfolio, closing multimodal gaps, making generative AI accessible, and prioritizing efficient and quantized models. Additionally, platform enhancements were implemented, including a simplified Model Hub experience in the SageMaker AI console, pre-configured endpoint deployment options, and Hugging Face integration.
