Amp puts AI agents to work beyond code with OpenAI models

Amp is developing next-generation AI agents that enable developers to turn their ideas into working software. The company offers a wide range of solutions from coding to design processes using OpenAI models.

Next-Generation Software Processes Powered by AI

Amp is building advanced AI agents that help turn ambitious ideas into reality. According to CEO Quinn Slack, every advancement in model capabilities further expands what the agent can do.

Many stages, from developers deciding what to build to writing code and page design, are supported by this system. OpenAI models account for a very large portion of the tokens used within Amp.

Move to Reduce Token Costs

To help alleviate token cost constraints, Amp has launched its integration providing users with more tokens and access to OpenAI models, including GPT-6 Astra.

Thanks to this integration, developers gain the opportunity to more comfortably overcome cost and capacity barriers encountered while executing their projects.

Real-Time Chat Assistant Puck

Amp has also announced Puck, a new conversational AI assistant embedded within the platform and powered by GPT-Live-1.

Thanks to this assistant, users can communicate with Puck in real time via voice or text to launch and manage other AI agents.
