Anthropic Develops Tools for Companies to Track AI Spending
Anthropic has introduced new reporting tools to help corporate clients see the return on their spending for AI tools like Claude Code.
Anthropic has announced the development of new reporting tools designed to help corporate clients see more clearly the value and token costs of the AI tools they use, such as Claude Code.
Financial data shared by Anthropic with investors shows that the AI coding tool Claude Code has achieved commercial success. While the company achieved operating profitability in the second quarter, it was stated that spending by the same customers increased ninefold between the third quarter of 2025 and the third quarter of 2026, reaching a 900% net revenue retention rate.
Managers will be able to view a team's work, output products, costs, and workflow bottlenecks within a specific date range using internal analytics and employee surveys. Anthropic stated that this data will not be used for model training by default. The reports also offer suggestions for improving outcomes, and the company is also creating shared group budgets for teams to manage their token spending.
