Apple introduced the seven-inch HomeView tablet designed for home use and the HomeCollection smart home devices at an event held in New York City.
Features of the HomeView Tablet
HomeView was designed as a seven-inch smart home tablet capable of recognizing six family members and adapting its content accordingly.
Available in countertop and wall-mountable versions, the device will go on sale starting at $299.
Release Date and Countries
The new smart home tablet will go on sale in eight countries, including the United States, Britain, and India.
It was stated that the device will not be launched in the European Union because the new Siri is not yet available there.

This announcement came shortly after John Ternus took over the leadership from Tim Cook last month.
At the event, the iPhone Duo was also introduced, and the HomePod mini and Apple TV models were updated.
