Applications to the Family and Youth Fund Exceed 315 Thousand

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that applications to the Family and Youth Fund have reached 315,696, and that payments totaling 1 billion 756 million 600 thousand liras were made to 15,468 young people in October.

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş shared current data regarding the Family and Youth Fund, which was implemented to support young people's marriage processes. Within the scope of the fund, which is financed by revenues generated from Turkey's underground resources, a total of 22 billion 804 million 100 thousand liras in zero-interest loan support has been provided to 238,448 young people to date.

The total number of applications made to benefit from the fund, which was launched in pilot provinces in 2024 and expanded nationwide in 2025, reached 315,696. While payments of 1 billion 756 million 600 thousand liras were made to 15,468 young people in October, it was reported that 271,118 young people were also supported through training and consultancy services.
