Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Thi Thanh Huong won first place in the mid-career category at the COSTI-90 meeting held in Da Nang.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Thi Thanh Huong from the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, has won the first-place prize in the mid-career category within the scope of the 2026 ASEAN-US Science Prize for Women.
Details of the Award Ceremony
The award presentation took place on October 14 within the framework of the 90th meeting of the ASEAN Committee on Science, Technology, and Innovation held in the city of Da Nang.
Academic Background and Position
Having graduated with high honors from the Biotechnology department of the University of Science, Ha Thi Thanh Huong pursued her academic work after receiving her Ph.D. from Stanford University.
The successful academic currently serves as the Head of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Department within the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.
